Archie Kilpatrick is Ready to Brawl

Archie Kilpatrick, lovingly called ‘the Leprechaun’ by his fellow residents of Boston, Massachusetts, is ready to scrum with anybody. The six-foot two-inch tall, 179 lbs. man of very obvious Irish descent is no stranger to fights – whether organized or unorganized. Before entering the octagon, Kilpatrick had a brief stint in collegiate hockey with Boston University. This is where he became known for his menacing punches… and not much else. He wasn’t a good shot, nor was he a good skater. His job on the team was to just get out there and defend star players, which usually ended up with blood and teeth on the ice.

Eventually, as his already low production on the ice dwindled even further, his coach suggested he drop out of hockey and enter boxing or MMA. Kilpatrick ended up choosing MMA, and thus he hit the mats. Just about every day involved the Leprechaun doing push ups, pull ups, running, punching, and everything else you would expect a future MMA fighter to train on. His love for the sport grew alongside the strength of his punch and the volatility of the words he threw out at sparring opponents. He doesn’t come without his weaknesses, however. Archie isn’t exactly the best on the ground, as his mostly boxing oriented style does not account for ground games. Clinches and kicks are similarly not his strong suit, as these too are not very involved with his preferred modus operandi of fighting.

Kilpatrick is absolutely a huge threat in the octagon, though. In a recent fight against fighter Iliad Cars, the Leprechaun let loose fifty-one hits, landing 88% (45) of them on Cars. This ended up in nearly 1800 damage given to Cars. Iliad Cars was unable to land anything on Kilpatrick, resulting in a whole 0 damage received. We will see how much longer performances like this may last for Archie Kilpatrick.
